Ever wonder what the first Desert Eagle looked like? Well, to begin, they added the "Desert" part of the name later, and just called it the "Eagle". Believed to be the first prototype gun designed by Magnum Research and produced by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), this gas-operated .357 Magnum pistol would later become one of the most powerful, well-recognized, and infamous gun icon of the late 20th and early 21st century.
